This sartorial spectacle at the V&A looks at men’s fashion through history
Ranging from portraits by Joshua Reynolds to snaps of Harry Styles, this exhibition at the V&A in London (19 March–6 November) takes a sweeping look at men’s fashion over the centuries. With 100 artworks and 100 outfits thematically across three galleries – entitled ‘Undressed’, ‘Overdressed’, and ‘Redressed’ – the show ranges from explorations of elite attire through history to the origins of English country tailoring, and from shifting styles over the course of the 20th century to the variety of contemporary fashion across the globe.
