‘The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945–2014’, which opens tomorrow at the Victoria and Albert Museum, is the first major show to examine Italy’s unique contribution to fashion from the end of the Second World War to the present. It showcases over 100 ensembles and accessories, and highlights defining elements of the Italian fashion industry including luxurious materials, regional manufacturing and expert textile manufacturing.
