Anne Huntington epitomises that breed of young collectors who readily engage with the institutions that have inspired them. She is an active patron of museums and charities: co-chair of the Guggenheim Young Collectors Council, a founding member of the Future Leadership Council at the Whitney, and a member of the Art Advisory Board for the Coalition for the Homeless. Her own collection has flourished, boasting pieces by emerging artists such as Alex DaCorte and Adam Pendleton alongside works by Christopher Wool and Mary Heilmann. She is director of strategic partnerships for the Huntington Learning Center, and in 2010 founded AMH Industries, an art advisory and curatorial company.
