The Wallace Line (named after the British naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace who identified it), marks the boundary between Asian and Australian ecozones; the point at which the flora and fauna begins to shift. This exhibition looks along this line, not at the natural world but at the region’s art and culture, tracing stylistic echoes and aesthetic links.
