Judith McKenzie is director of the open-access photo-archive www.manar-al-athar.ox.ac.uk, based at the University of Oxford, where she is also University Research Lecturer in the Faculties of Classics and Oriental Studies, and Principal Investigator of the ERC Project ‘Monumental Art of the Christian and Early Islamic East: Cultural Identities and Classical Heritage’. Her books include ‘The Architecture of Petra’ and ‘The Architecture of Alexandria and Egypt’.
