Bernadine Bröcker Wieder

While she was managing a Mayfair gallery, Bernadine Bröcker Wieder realised that museums and private collectors had no easy way of communicating. To simplify the art-lending process, Bröcker Wieder launched the online platform Vastari at the start of 2012, as a way to facilitate exhibition loans and tours. Vastari has since been recognised by the Mayor of London’s International Business Programme and Bröcker Wieder was shortlisted for the Natwest Great British Entrepreneur Awards in 2017. With the success of her start-up, Bröcker Wieder has built a platform to advocate for technology in the art world, lecturing on the uses of AI, VR and blockchain. In July she co-organised the first Christie’s Art+Tech Summit.
