Haegue Yang is a leading contemporary artist who works in Seoul and Berlin. Her work has been featured in the 8th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art, Brisbane (2016), the Taipei Biennial (2014), dOCUMENTA (13), Kassel (2012), the Gwangju Biennial (2010), and the Venice Biennale (2009). She has presented solo exhibitions at the Hamburger Kunsthalle (2016), UCCA Ullens Center for Contemporary Art, Beijing (2015), Bergen Kunsthall (2013), Haus der Kunst, Munich (2012), Modern Art Oxford (2011), the New Museum of Contemporary Art, New York (2010), and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis (2009). She received the 2005 Cremer Preis, and was one of two winners of the 2007 Bâloise Art Prize.
