Though he only started collecting in 2005, Philippines-born Robbie Antonio has already amassed a formidable contemporary art collection, which includes works by the likes of Picasso, Mark Rothko, Francis Bacon, Damien Hirst and Jeff Koons. The real estate developer has become well known for commissioning artists and architects, including portraits of himself by Julian Schnabel, Takashi Murakami, Julian Opie and many others – as well as a building by Rem Koolhaas to house them. An active supporter of the arts, he is the founder of the Stealth Foundation, which encourages promising artists in the Philippines.
