Collector, Seoul
Passionate about arts education, Soyoung Lee runs the community art space Re:Art Ground, where she gives lectures on art. She is also in charge of Big Fish Art, a private institute offering classes to children. Her own collecting interests are divided between the identification of emerging talent – including Korean artists Haneyl Choi and Heemin Chung – and the rediscovery of forgotten but important artists; she owns around 200 works, among them pieces by Purvis Young and Sofia Mitsola. Lee communicates her discoveries and interests through online blogs and to around 25,000 Instagram followers.
