Co-founder, Tao Art Space, Taipei
In 2020, Vicky Chen co-founded Tao Art Space with her father – an exhibition space designed by the Japanese architect Jun Aoki in Taipei’s Neihu district, which operates as a showcase for an extensive collection that spans contemporary art, Chinese antiquities, Old and modern masters. Tao Art is also a hub for artists and collectors from the region to connect; in the last few years, Chen has worked closely with Taiwanese artists including Yu Cheng-Ta, John Yuyi, Jeng Jundian and Christina Liu. Chen has also sought to promote international artists at Tao Art; currently on view is a display of Berlin-based Swiss painter Manuel Stehli.
