Zeynep Öz

Independent curator, Istanbul

Independent curator Zeynep Öz has curated the Turkey Pavilion at the Venice Biennale and the BACA Award at the Bonnefanten Museum and Sharjah Art Foundation. She co-founded SPOT Production Fund in Istanbul in 2011, which she directed until 2017, and since 2015 she has been on the curriculum and selection committee for the Home Workspace Program in Beirut. Her other curatorial work includes the off-site project ‘BAHAR’ for the Sharjah Biennial 13, a project at third edition of the Aichi Triennale, a film at SALT, Istanbul and an event called ‘Selling Snails in the Muslim Neighborhood’ at the Westfälischer Kunstverein, Münster.
